Government Jobs
Elder Lord
Elder Lords represent the will of the people, they are chosen from the masses of citizens by the Emperor based on their attributes to serve the people of Bahlmoria. Unlike Lords, they aren't responsible for a small region, but work together for the betterment of the entire city.
Lord
Lords are responsible for the districts they are responsible for watching over, for example, if someone is in charge of a poor region, it is their duty, to try and bring prosperity, while deterring crime in the region.
Master
Master is awarded to certain individuals that have proven their skill in diplomacy and likewise. they are the right hand of the Lords, and each Lord is required to have one. They carry out the minor duties to small to bother a lord, preparing them to take over the job when their Lords leave the post.
Regent
A regent is a man with aspirations to lead the political theater. while having minor roles in the affairs of Bahlmoria, they are in a position of little importance, but, the reason it is needed, is Lords must choose the Masters from the Regents.
Military Jobs
Commander
A commander leads the entirety of the military forces of Bahlmoria, so as you can imagine, this role is not to be taken lightly, nor is it an easy job. they oversee everything, from retention, to recruitment, to supply, and should something go wrong, the blame is theirs.
Captain
a captain is the second man down from the Commander. he helps the commander oversee what needs to be done, and helps fix any of the problems that arise.
Watchman
watchman are like medieval knights. they are soldiers of great honor, and renown. and have since been awarded a position managing the troops below them.
Sentry
A sentry is responsible for overseeing the general security of the city, whether through patrols, or placing guards.
Footman
Footman are your basic, level one soldiers, with little experience, or honor.
Civilian Jobs
Farmer
farmers are the backbone of food production in Bahlmoria, they manage crops, and livestock ensuring that theres always plenty to be eaten.
Miner
Miners are the ones you see burrowing new tunnels or mining precious stones to be sold or used as fuel. they help make Bahlmoria the wealthy city it is today.
Craftsman
many sub-classes of the craftsman exist, but long story short, they craft. whether it may be armor, or arrows, or tools, or building materials. whatever it may be, it is made by craftsman.
Architect
Architects are people that help build the new rooms and structures around Balhmoria. They are skilled in their trade, and it shows.
Worker
Workers are your dime a dozen people, with no particular skill, they assist with all, or most duties, but are not greatly experienced at any given one.
Servant
Servants are people who, whether as a means of settling a debt, or through conquering, have come into the service of someone of importance, like a Elder Lord, Lord, Or Master.
Other Jobs
Slaver
Slavers wander the world, looking for people to send to the great city of Bahlmoria, from that point, they may choose their path in life within the city. (Slavers are recruiters for the town)
Slave
Slaves are the members that Slavers bring to the city, they will keep this title until they choose their new profession. if to long goes on before they choose, one will be chosen for them.
Caste-less
Caste-less are citizens who have fallen from honor, wether by desertion, or through a life of crime, they have shamed the city, so they have been banned from having a profession, and from owning property.
Criminal Jobs
Kingpin
Keeps control of the people below him through fear, and intimidation. They have sole possession of the criminal underground, their rise to power is brutal, as is their reign.
Assassin
The Kingpins’ agents, they kill off the political enemies, threats within organized crime, and anyone who may have the misfortune of a large enough bounty.
Thief
An assassin in training, attempts to prove their skill in deception, stealth, and ruthlessness in order to earn the coveted rank of assassin.
Thug
The muscle of the criminal organization, they do the dirty work, such as threatening businesses, guarding safe houses or facilities, and just making a mess of the civilized world.
Dealer
They are the mastermind of alchemy, producing all kinds of toxins, and potions for use by the criminal organizations’ thugs.
