Hello, SKB here! Anyways, as the title says this is a discussion about Animation (Anime and the like). I myself watch more animation movies than series. That is just the way I approach anime, so as you could guess. I am a Studio Ghibli, Studio Chizu, Disney, etc. fan. So thought I would make this thread for other animation fans as well, where we could discuss series and animated movies and recommend them as well.

*sigh* anime. sucks. it is literally (through every one of them) the exact same style, artwork, and for a general rule. story-line :3 however, as a "young adult" i can say that i do still enjoy a lot of my childhood cartoons, as the artwork may be mostly the same, the storiies range greatly. in anime, the story is pretty much the same thing. (feel free to try and prove this wrong, the only animes i ever watched were with my Japanese roommate when i was 18, so ive only seen the ones straight from japan. on a side note, ill be on the server at about 6am, or perhaps when i wake up, well see what kind of night it is  |

Well as for myself, I just watch anime movies mostly, as in my experience the animation movies usually differ somewhat. I watch very few series, for one I don't have the time to watch 12 seasons of something and I prefer shorter series maybe 3-5 seasons tops.
PS. I usually on the server from 9 am to 3 pm (US/CST), as nights are usually busy for me.

well, what do you mean by series. are you talking like full metal alchemist, sword art online, space dandy, bleach, ect. or are you talking "cartoons" like simpsons, family guy, archer, aqua teen hunger force?
those are two very differant pieces of entertainment.

Here are some of the series. Full Metal, Full Metal Brotherhood, Death Note, Hetalia, Soul Eater, Mobile Suit Gundam. Some of my favs off the top of my head. The others you mentioned Simpsons, etc. are terrible in my opinion.

family guy, futurama, ect
however untill recently (like 2 years ago) i was still watching shit like tom and jerry, scooby-doo (id still watch that shit) and avatar
so thats about it.
but my movies are vastly differant, the walking dead, resident evil, the matrix, hellboy, ect

Love me some TWD, and I do like GOT a bit also. Those two I have followed for awhile now. Movies like unanimation, I like quite a few of them.
